Downloading again both rom and gapps and giving a second try.......reporting back.

I keep getting Touch-wiz force close every time I press the home button, how do I fix that? Also, why is face unlock no longer an option for screen lock?

from settings go to the app and clear cache
see if it helps
otherwise do wipe dalvik+cache from recovery

Ok,downloaded again and this time everything went fine......

whats the best app for backing up things like mail for example, so i can backup and restore after installing a new rom and don´t have to reinsert my email adress + pw ?

tried with titanium backing up sms and mail, but after restoring i still have to set up every account again and no sms history......

i used to use mobile backup 2
but i never used for sms
search it in google play because i still can't post links

sms backup is best option there is also a backup app that backs up sms contacts call logs apps and much much more take a look on app store

But how can i backup my Mail Account settings?i dont want to Setup all my Accounts again and again....titanium Backup i Made from email in v5 of your rom i restored After installing v5,but still had to Setup everything again

dont think google account can be backed up since different rom's use different settings and diffferent versions of apps and different config files

Just one thing. Could you add Spanish dictionary(or language) in Samsung Keypad. I can not use T9 predictions because Spanish is not in the languages list.

I am on fresh V6. Everything seems to work ok(included WiFi). Do i need to flash Ota-Updater-Fixed.zip?

Is there anyway you could put BEATS AUDIO, i know it sounds kinda weird, but for me it would be the perfect blend of HTC with Samsung hence the name Samsation

I am facing difficulties getting my phone connected in USB mode to transfer files. I turn on the USB mode on the phone when it prompts to, but after a short while nothing happens and it again returns to the original screen. I've tried several cables to connect, but only seldom does it connects. What may be the issue?

It might have something to do with 32bit and 64bit windows versions. There is an alternative, take out your sd card and put it in an adapter and stick that into your computer and transfer the files that way?

Yeah but i don't have the separate card reader and right now i was working on a desktop. Strange enough, sometimes abruptly i am able to connect it successfully.

When i was on the last ROM, i was able to do it without any hassles. Is it necessary to enable the debugging mode?
